Nursery Tours
Every now and then we receive requests for nursery tours and inquiries about
nursery operations. Based on these requests, we thought providing an on-line
tour experience might be of interest.
Of course visitors to our Boscawen
facilities are welcome
and actual tours can be arranged for 15 or more. Best time to schedule tours is in May
and June - fall tours can be arranged as well. For further information about

New Hampshire State Forest Nursery
We have 3 million seedlings growing on 16 acres of irrigated, outdoor
seedbeds, 20 acres of seed orchards and progeny tests (tests
to compare the offspring of different parents),
and several on-site demonstration plantings. Annual seedlings sales
total about 350,000 consisting of over 50 different species and
specialty packages. The Nursery facilities and seedbeds are located in
south-central New Hampshire along the bank of the Merrimack River and
lie within an 880-acre state forest managed for multiple uses.
